"£7 Million Transfer Deal Sealed: Young Star's Departure from Chelsea Sparks Excitement!"

The 22-year-old player is prepared to depart from Stamford Bridge permanently following several loan moves in the past.

Leeds has submitted a bid of £7 million, which Chelsea has accepted for Ethan Ampadu. Although the player was included in Mauricio Pochettino's squad for the USA pre-season tour, he will now remain behind to finalize the transfer.

Earlier on Monday, it was exclusively disclosed that the Wales international had received interest from clubs in the Premier League, Italy, and Spain. However, Leeds' bid was the only concrete offer, and Ampadu will undergo a medical examination as part of the deal. Last week, he trained under new manager Pochettino.

Having only one year left on his contract, Chelsea was ready to capitalize on Ampadu's transfer. Although the club initially set the asking price at £12 million, they have reached an agreement with Leeds for £7 million plus £3 million in add-ons, as well as a sell-on clause.

Another promising Chelsea youngster, Ian Maatsen, is also attracting interest, particularly from Burnley, who aim to secure his permanent signing after a successful loan spell last season. However, he is currently on the plane headed to the United States for the pre-season tour.

On the other hand, Callum Hudson-Odoi is unlikely to join the squad for the tour, as Fulham is eager to secure his signature this week.

Among the other youngsters selected for the upcoming tour are Cesare Casadei, Mason Burstow, Bashir Humphreys, and Lucas Bergstrom.
